Delete Your Account

You can delete your SleepHero account and its data at any time. This page explains how to do it inside the app, how to request it if you cannot sign in, what is removed, and what little is kept.
Short Version
Open SleepHero, go to Settings, then Security, then Delete account, and confirm. Your account and personal data are removed and a confirmation email is sent. If you cannot open the app, email us from your account address and we will delete it for you.
Delete From Inside the App
Open SleepHero and go to Settings → Security → Delete account. You will be asked to confirm twice because the action cannot be undone. When you confirm, your account and data are deleted right away and a final confirmation email is sent to the address on your account.
What Gets Deleted
Deletion removes your account profile (email, display name, avatar, and user id), your sleep records, your feed posts, comments, and emoji reactions, your notifications and push device registrations, your wearable connections, your challenge and team participation records, and your XP, streak, and badge history. Your SleepHero sign-in account is also permanently removed so you can no longer log in.
What We Keep
SleepHero does not retain your personal data after deletion. If you ever made an in-app purchase, the underlying purchase or transaction record may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and record-keeping obligations, as described in our Privacy Policy. These records are not used to identify you in the app after your account is gone.
If You Cannot Open the App
Email hello@sleephero.io from the email address on your SleepHero account and ask us to delete it. We may need to confirm ownership of the account before deleting it. Requests are actioned within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
